1. The service
ZeroBG is a browser-based image background-removal tool provided as part of RuntimeHub. It is offered free of charge, without an account or subscription. Features and model availability may change as the product is improved.
2. Your files and output
Images selected in the current version are processed locally in your browser. The application does not send the selected image to a ZeroBG image-processing server. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions required to use the images you select and distribute the resulting files.
The tool creates a predicted foreground mask; output quality is not guaranteed. You should review the result before using it for business, publication, identification, or other important purposes.
3. Acceptable use
Use ZeroBG lawfully and do not interfere with the service, attempt to disrupt its infrastructure, or use it to infringe another person's rights. Do not represent the service or its output as providing guarantees that it does not make.
4. Third-party components
The browser downloads an AI runtime and model files from third-party distribution infrastructure when processing starts. Those providers' infrastructure and terms may apply to their delivery of those assets. Relevant model attribution and licence information is described in the project's README and model notices.
5. Availability and warranty
ZeroBG is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, compatible with every device, error-free, or suitable for a particular use. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, RuntimeZero and RuntimeHub are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the free tool. Any limitation applies only as far as applicable law permits and does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated when the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are made.
