Privacy, without vague promises.

Your image is processed in your browser. This page explains what that means — including the network requests needed to fetch the AI model.

Effective date: October 11, 2026 · Last updated: October 11, 2026

1. Image processing

In the current implementation, the image you choose is read by the page and passed to a local Web Worker. Model inference and PNG creation run in the browser on your device. The application code does not upload the selected image or derived pixels to a ZeroBG processing endpoint.

Images and generated results can remain temporarily in browser memory while the page is open. They are not saved to a ZeroBG account or application library. Closing the page releases the app's in-memory references, subject to normal browser behaviour.

2. Model and runtime downloads

When the studio workspace comes into view, the browser initializes the engine and downloads the Transformers.js runtime from jsDelivr and model assets from Hugging Face. The upload control becomes available after the engine is ready. The browser may cache these files for later use. These asset requests are separate from your image; ZeroBG does not include the chosen photo in those requests.

As with any network request, the infrastructure provider may receive ordinary connection information such as IP address, user-agent and requested asset URL. Review the providers' own privacy materials for how they operate their delivery infrastructure.

3. Analytics, accounts and advertising

This project template does not add account registration, image uploads, advertising scripts, cookies for user tracking, or analytics code. If analytics or advertising are added in a future release, this page must be updated to describe those changes before deployment.

4. Your control

You choose which image to open, when to start processing and whether to download the result. You can remove the current image with “Try another” or close the tab. If you do not want the engine or model files downloaded from these hosts, do not scroll into or activate the studio workspace.

5. Children

ZeroBG is a general-purpose image utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Do not submit images you do not have permission to use.

6. Changes to this notice

This notice will be updated if the implementation or its data flows change. The date above identifies the current version.
